What’s Next
The projects change over time, but the kinds of problems that keep my attention usually do not. This is simply where that attention is today.
CAREER
A lot of what I have worked on eventually comes down to the same few questions: who owns something, what it is worth, and what has to be true on paper before it can be sold, licensed, or folded into something larger.
Those same questions appear in more places than ever. Whether the work involves intellectual property, entertainment, privacy, business strategy, or AI, I am usually most interested in understanding how the legal and business pieces fit together.
PERSONAL PROJECTS
Outside of client work, I still spend a fair amount of time building things, mostly because I like taking an idea apart and seeing whether it holds up. Some of that lately has gone toward how technology might help people pay closer attention to the people they care about: the specific details that make someone feel known, and how easily those details get lost in the ordinary busyness of a relationship.
A related thread has to do with memory after someone is gone: how a life gets summarized, what usually gets left out of a conventional memorial, and whether there is a better way to hold onto the parts that do not fit neatly into one.
These are simply ideas I have enjoyed exploring in my free time, and I will keep building them as long as they continue teaching me something.

None of the above is a complete list, and it is not meant to be. If there is a pattern, it is that I like a real problem — legal, business, or creative — more than I like the framing around it.
